About Stephanie
Stephanie Vargas is a wife, mother of three boys, and a lifelong member of our community who is stepping forward because she refuses to let the next generation inherit a California in decline. She is running for Congress to fight for common‑sense solutions that restore stability, protect families, and ensure our children grow up with real opportunity—not rising costs and shrinking hope.
As the Chief Deputy City Clerk and elections official for a city within the district, as well as being a life-long resident of District 33, Stephanie has seen firsthand how political decisions made in Washington are hurting everyday families, businesses, and cities. She is tired of watching career politicians drive up energy prices, taxes, and the cost of living while ignoring public safety, weakening parent rights, and failing to protect our children.
Stephanie believes our district deserves leaders who will stand up, speak truth, and put families first. Her mission is simple: safeguard the future so our children and future generations inherit something of value—safe neighborhoods, affordable living, and a government that finally works for the people.

Vargas Appears on "Roundtable Ministries" to Share Her Faith, Story, and Call to Courage
Congressional candidate Stephanie Vargas was recently invited to join Pastor Frank and Laura Dean on Roundtable Ministries, airing on The Cross TV Network, for an episode titled “You Will Know Them by Their Fruits” inspired by Matthew 7:16–20.
During the interview, Vargas reflected on her upbringing at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Riverside, where her faith first took root. She shared her experience serving as an American Student Ambassador, representing the country overseas—a role that profoundly shaped her understanding of service and sacrifice.
Vargas recounted one of the most defining moments of her youth: standing on the preserved beaches of Normandy, France, looking out at the endless rows of white crosses marking the graves of American soldiers who fell on D‑Day. She described that moment as the one in which she realized that freedom is not free—that it is costly, and that every generation must be willing to defend it.
Throughout the conversation, Vargas spoke openly about how her faith has guided her work as a public servant and how she believes the Lord has called her to take this courageous step into national leadership. She used the platform to encourage people of faith across the country to stand for truth, get involved, and pray boldly for God to move in this moment.
